Landon Thompson '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1" 310 lb. DT and occasional FB from the class of 2024. I am very versatile and believe that I could play just about any position with some practice at it. I have played football since the 4th grade and I love everything about it, especially the hitting aspect of the game. I am a hard-nosed player who doesn't showboat or crave all the accolades from big plays. I just enjoy doing my job at my position. I am a great teammate and leader on and off the field. I play to play, and I play from whistle to whistle on every play.  I also have 11 yrs. of wrestling experience from grade schools to high school with a lot of success in that sport as well and I believe that training and experience has helped me become a better football player. I want to join a team where I can come in and immediately help make an impact whether it be a starting position or in practice. As for college, I am unsure of my major right now, but I know that I would like to pursue a career in a field that helps people.
