Athletics has always been a big part of my life. After two and a half years of high school, I have earned a total of seven letters in volleyball, track, and softball. I participated at a Varsity level in all three sports since my Freshman year. However, what most people miss when they hear this is that I earned letters in both track and softball. Track and softball are held during the same sports season in Wisconsin. I am the first female athlete at Wausau West High School (Division I) to participate in the track / softball combination. To be able to accomplish this, I have to stay very organized, communicate closely with my coaches, and most importantly, maintain my grades. I am pleased to say that I have been able to successfully manage being a dual sport athlete while playing at a high level. This experience will help me stay organized and focused as a college athlete.
