I am from Koliganek, Alaska, a rural village with a population of approximately 300. I have also lived in Anchorage and Kenai, Alaska. Playing sports has always brought me joy.
I have played and excelled in baseball, wrestling, football, and basketball leagues from elementary through Junior High. I chose to focus my time and attention on basketball as a freshman, but due to Covid and its restrictions I was unable to play any games. My sophomore year at Mt. Edgecumbe High School is when I put all other sports aside. Unfortunately, I was injured and was only able to play in the regional and state tournament. Missing two years of my favorite sport, my drive to compete and play was undeniable. Along with academics, I mentally and physically prepared myself for my last two years of high school. My junior year, the All Conference, All State, and an MVP award. My stats were 14 ppg, shooting 52.9 % from the field and 28% from the three. 4.3 rebounds per game, 3.8 steals per game, and 4.7 assists per game. Percentages for free throw was 75%, three point was 28%,
My senior year I received 4 MVP awards and was named the Eastern Conference MVP. Stats for my senior year were: 20.4 ppg, shooting 74% from free-throw, 60.1% from the field and 34% from the three. 5.6 rebounds per game, 2.6 steals, and 4.1 assists. I received multiple player of the game awards for junior and senior year and the First team All-State for the 2024 State Championship awards.
My goal is to further my education and to thrive and play at the collegiate level in basketball where I can compete and play among like-minded student athletes. My drive to play is at an ultimate high. I spend 2-3 hours every day in the gym lifting weights and on the court.
