My name is Ethan Whitfield, and this quote motivates me to take my game to the next level, continue to work hard at my basketball development, and learn from each opportunity.  The one word my coaches have always used to describe me is – coachable – they know I will come to practice each day with the mindset of learning from them to improve and help my team in whatever role I can on and off the floor.  

I am graduating from high school in 2022 at Lord Beaverbrook High School in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  I have played 6 years of school basketball and 3 years of club basketball.  I am a strong defensive player with a good basketball IQ who plays predominately in the point guard or small forward position.  During my senior year in high school, I was proud to be team captain and was chosen by my coaches as a Selects Athlete All-star.  I averaged 12 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds per game.  I have spent a lot of time in the gym during my senior year focusing on improving my athleticism and strength.  Some of my PB stats include a 235 lbs. bench and 315 lbs. squat.
