Tristan Wainman '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tristan Wainman, I am a 6’1, combo guard. Since I can remember I’ve had a passion for basketball, I’ve played Senior Varsity basketball at Chestermere High School throughout my High School career while maintaining a 3.5 GPA and played AAU club basketball. I am currently studying at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta and looking for a home next season. I have achieved all-conference awards and coaches awards throughout High School and club basketball. I am a consistent shooter, not afraid to shoot the ball, I take pride in defence and a guard with a high IQ. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates and holding them accountable. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest-working players for any team I’m a part of. I’m dedicated to playing any collegiate or university-level basketball, at any division. I feel I can contribute to improving any school's basketball program at any post-secondary program as well as contributing to a prosperous academic institution.
