My name is Dominik Berumen and I am a senior at Arizona College Prep in Chandler, Arizona. As a dedicated student-athlete and a proud Latino male, I am excited to share my aspirations and what makes me a strong candidate for your basketball program.

Basketball has been a significant part of my life since childhood. It has taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Throughout my high school career, I have worked tirelessly to develop my skills on the court. I have been a starting player on my varsity team for the past two years, leading my team in points, assists, rebounds and earning recognition as 5A All Region. My passion for the game drives me to push my limits every day, and I am committed to continuous improvement.

What sets me apart from other recruits is not only my dedication to athletics but also my strong academic performance. I have maintained a GPA of 3.8 while taking advanced courses demonstrating my ability to balance academics and athletics. I believe that being a student-athlete means excelling in both areas, and I take pride in my commitment to my education.

In addition to my athletic and academic achievements, I bring a unique perspective to the team as a Latino male. I understand the importance of representation and inclusivity in sports, and I strive to inspire others through my actions both on and off the court. I am actively involved in my community, volunteering with special needs children which has taught me valuable lessons about leadership, empathy, and responsibility.

As I look towards my collegiate career, I am eager to find a program that values hard work, integrity, and a passion for growth—both as athletes and individuals. I am confident that my unique background, strong work ethic, and dedication to both basketball and academics will make me a valuable asset to your team.
