My name is Tyler Jacobs, I have been playing basketball ever since i was 6 years old and always had a ball with me everywhere I went. The love of the game came from when I use to watch Derrick Rose rise high and dunk the ball. When i started to grow up, it was my father who I looked up to as my role model and to surpass his accomplishments in high school, to the end of his college days. Basketball taught me that not everything is guaranteed in life or your going to get a second chance. I am going to graduate high school top of my class and then proceed to college and end it with my doctoral's degree in pharmacy. My dreams are to go to a Division 1 program and play basketball for them then getting drafted into the NBA. I take school and basketball very seriously, its my way to show my parents i am very thankful for what they did for me my whole life. Its rare to see a Navajo go to a Division-lll program and up to play basketball. My desire to work in and out of the classroom or on and off the court for basketball is what makes me different from other athletes. I just have the love for the game, I am an athletic point guard with a nice 3 point corner shot. I am most confident when i drive the ball and finish with contact, hitting that important jump shot in the game or guarding the opposing team best defender.
