I began my love for basketball at an early age when I played for the Carlisle city league at the age of 11 years old. My parents were my biggest influence and allowed me to play several different sports such as baseball, soccer and basketball. As I grew older each year I developed more skills in which allowed me to be selected to play on a local AAU team. This opportunity has given me the chance to play against a higher level of opponents therefore making me focus on my ball handling, shooting and assist skills. I've learned through out these past seasons that it takes hard work and dedication in order to enhance my skills and to help my team achieve it's goals. I want to use this same hard work and dedication in my coming school years to help me achieve my personal goal which is to become a division I collegiate athlete. My academic goals are to remain above a 3.0 GPA and to achieve high scores on both the ACT and SAT tests. I want to continue my love for the game by working hard in a team environment and continually improving both as an individual and as a team. The skills I am currently working to improve on are ball handling, shooting and passing. These I consider to be strongest attributes.
