I am a 6 foot point guard who weighs 175 pounds. I have received feedback about my tremendous speed and quickness and am very strong. I am a balanced player, able to get to the hole and either score or find an open team-mate. I am adept at spotting up or shooting off the dribble. I also take pride in shutting down the other team's most dangerous perimeter threat. The accomplishment I am most proud of is making the Basketball BC Provincial Team all four years I have been eligible and being a key contributor on all teams. At the 2012 u17 national championships my team(British Columbia) placed third. I was the the third leading scorer, second in assists and first in three point percentage. I have been chosen to play for Canada on the u19 team going to Israel for the Maccabiah Games in July of next year. I am also proud of another noteworthy accomplishment in, not only making, but starting, for the senior varsity team while I was still a sophomore. I led the team in assists, minutes, steals and free throw percentage. In my junior year I was second in scoring, first in assists, first in field goal percentage, and first in minutes. I have the best work ethic on my team. I will often go to the gym before school and will sacrifice going to parties or hanging out with friends in order to work on my game in the weight room and on the court. I enjoy school academics, especially history and life sciences. My GPA so is 3.5 all time and was 3.75 last year. My NCAA eligibility number is 1109614706.
It's always been my dream to play college basketball at the highest level possible that I can reach. I am open to schools nationwide, though the west coast would be ideal, so I could stay closer to home. The size of the school doesn't really matter to me, but it would be great if it had a well established science department. My goal in college basketball is to be a key contributor in a great program by the end of my career. If that means redshirting and playing fewer minutes in my first couple years on the team, I'm fine with that, and would give it my all in practice to make the rest of the team better.
