My college aspirations are to study criminology and play basketball.
I came to basketball in my grade 7 year, so have been playing for four years now. I have played on a tournament travel team for the last two years. Summer 2018, I tried out and was accepted to play at the BC Summer Games. I attended an assessment/ID camp for possible recruitment for National team in Vancouver February 2020. Was a great experience being in the land of the giants! I wasn't selected as I was one of the younger athletes. However, I was selected to come back the second day, one of only two juniors asked. I currently practise with a private club. Due to covid, practise is all I can do.
In Grade 8, I was Boys Athlete of the Year at Dover Secondary School. In grade 9, I won Bronze Medal for sports participation. Grade 10, received Silver Medal for sports participation.
I am a dual sport athlete, having played soccer since age 5. I currently playU21 Mens Soccer with VI Surf, an elite academy. Currently, I spent about 30 hours a week between my two sports.
During the summer I attend a local gym for basketball specific weight, speed and agility training. I have attended shooting camps at Vancouver Island University and University of Victoria during Spring Break and Summer sessions.
At college, I aspire to eventually work in law enforcement, therefore would like to study criminology and play strong competitive sports, with an eye on a National team.
I am a hardworking, motivated and coachable player.
