Alex Villegas '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8" point guard/shooting guard from Barstow, California.  I am a junior for the class of 2022.  Being a sophomore I led the team in assist, steals, and came in third for scoring.  I received All League and offensive player of the year for my team. 

 As an eighth grader, I led my team in points and scoring. I was the starting point guard for my middle school (Barstow Stem Academy) for three years straight and team captain. I led them to be undefeated for two years and 3 playoff appearances and won the HDAL basketball championship. Currently, I have a 3.4 GPA and have yet to do my ACT or SAT. 

For college, I am open to going anywhere. Getting help to pay for my College is a need. My top two majors I would like to major in are criminal justice and photography. I would like to show and prove not only to my coaches but also to my educators that I am a hard worker in out of the classroom.  Some of my academic goals for college is to finish and go four years in college and remain a 3.0 and above. Some of my characteristic skills I possess in and out of the classroom and on the court is respect and leadership. At the end of the day, if I know I gave it my all off or on the court or in classroom that is what makes me satisfied and happy.
