Personal Statement

I am a 6'1"  guard from Inglewood, CA. I play with a high IQ,  tenacity and unselfishness. In addition, I am not afraid to sacrifice my body on defense.

Some of my character traits are kindness, toughness, leadership, loyalty, and humility. These traits have been instilled in me because of my parents and how they raised me.

I am passionate about basketball, but it's not the only sport I have played. I have practiced martial arts for 10 years. I earned my First-Degree Black Belt in Kajukenbo in October 2023.  I also teach martial arts classes to younger and older students. In addition, I played and started most games at wide receiver for the football freshman and JV team at one of the top 3 high school football programs in the country, Saint John Bosco High School.  I am also a three-year varsity lacrosse player at school.

During my junior year, I was the head of media for our Black Student Union and I am part of the Bosco Ambassador program where I get to visit middle schools and  host kids who are thinking about coming to Bosco. I love being an ambassador because I can give them a real understanding of what St. John Bosco is all about and maybe teach them something they didn't know about the school.

I am looking for a college where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the court. I would like to attend a university with a good psychology or business program. I want an athletic environment where I can make an impact on the team. I am open to playing at all levels of basketball if it's a good situation for me to have an impact and get a good education.

Overall, I believe my work ethic, coach ability, and skills will enable me to become a valuable player on any team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
