I have been told that less than 3% of high school basketball players will play in college. Less than 1 %
will play at the NCAA level. Since I was 5 ½ and first stepped onto a court at the local YMCA, my goal
was and still is to play at the collegiate level.
I strive to be a team leader and challenge myself as well as my teammates to be the best we can be. I
have played high school basketball since I’ve been a freshman and played on several AAU Teams. I push
myself year-round by working with different trainers and coaches to improve various parts of my game.
I’m determined to be the hardest working player and recruit on and off the court.
Academically, I am a member of The National Society of High School Scholars and maintain a high GPA. I
also volunteer as a teacher’s aid at St. Gregory’s Church in Belmont CA and volunteer my time at two
local youth basketball camps.
The perfect fit would be a college that challenges me on the basketball court as well as the classroom. I
am flexible to options in several majors, and I am ready to be challenged at the toughest level of
competition.
