Over the years my work ethic has grown substantially, which has not only translated to improvement on the court but success in the classroom as well. In my first three years of high school I've maintained a 3.94 GPA, understanding that academics will always be a focal point of my future. I went from only training with my AAU team at practices to now waking up at 6am to get a workout in everyday before school (either in the weightroom or on the court). I have seen much improvement in all facets of my game, especially scoring, shooting and my overall athleticism as I continue to grow into my body. This past season, with the help of my teammates we were able to bring home the first league title to Berkeley High in 14 years, over such perennial Catholic powerhouses as Bishop O’Dowd. I was also named co-MVP of the league, a rarity for a Junior. The previous season I was the only Sophomore to make 1st Team All-League, Bottom line is I’m always working to get better, well aware my game has plenty of room to grow and I'm always willing to accept coaching and criticism to improve.
