Hello Coach,
My name is Cobey Harraway. I'm in 12th grade playing for one of the most prestigious private schools in the country, Army & Navy Academy located in Carlsbad Ca. I spent the previous 3yrs at one of the top basketball prep schools in the country, Victory Rock Prep in Sarasota Fl. That experience helped raise my basketball IQ up several years beyond my age. VRP has four teams: National, Post Grad, Prep (a combination of HS and PG players), and Jr. National (freshmen & sophomores). While I was there, coach Jackson had me playing and starting on both the Jr National AND Prep teams. That experience made me an instant threat when I transferred to the CIF conference this past season. I was quickly identified as one of the best 2-way players in the league. Depending on the lineups I play the 1-4 positions. At 6'7" I'm long enough to guard virtually anyone on the court at any given time. Shooting and defense are my strong points. I'm also developing a strong slashing and mid-range game. I pride myself on being a natural born leader on and off the court as well as a excellent student. I also possess an outstanding work ethic.
