Dylan Victorio '23 Recruiting Profile

Earning the starting position on my high school varsity basketball team as a Freshmen was a goal I set and achieved.  But when our team didn’t make the playoffs, that was a feeling I never wanted to experience again. That helped me grow as a person and motivated me to concentrate on my own efforts on becoming a solid guard capable of playing at the college level.   It also helped me learn the value of sacrifice, commitment and teamwork. We’ve made the playoffs every year after and have gone further each year.   

Playing basketball is all I want to do and want to continue doing in college. Working every day towards self-improvement in this sport is all I try to do.  I feel that I am a selfless person and will put anything on the line to see my team succeed, even at my own expense. I try to put my team in the best situation to win and I try to do this in all aspects of life.  I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact at the next level.
