Hard work, perseverance, and respect for others are my principles to grow as an athlete and become a better version of myself every day. As the oldest child of Hispanic parents, there are many expectations placed on my education and athletic performance. Hard work and honesty have always been instilled in me as a means to achieve my goals. After graduating from high school, I want to go to college where I can pursue a career in Sports Medicine while playing the sport I love the most: basketball.
My physical and athletic attributes have helped me stand out in all basketball clubs I've been in; however, I do not consider myself the best because there will always be someone more talented, what I can assure is that I will always do the best I can to become a better person and player. I will not let my team down; I will fight until the last second of each game to bring joy and victory to our team.
Not giving up is what my parents have thought me. There will always be good and bad days, so enjoy life and don't be afraid. I consider myself a positive, reliable, friendly person with family values. As an athlete, I am focused, I work hard, I respect my teammates and my coach. I am humble and recognize that there's always room for improvement. I really think that if you work hard there's nothing impossible, dreams can come true if your heart can believe it.
