My name is Alan Athey and I am a 5'7" pure point guard that knows how to run a team and distribute the ball to my teammates, while also being able to score in a variety of ways. In my first two years of my high school career I was honored with the title team captain twice, and receive the MVP award of the freshman team last year. I am dedicated to this sport, as I plan on working hard on building my body, and improving skills this off season. When it comes to my preference of college, I will keep my options open. However, it would be nice if it was located on the west coast. Education is really important and I want to be in a system that will set me up best for success after college. I also want to be in a basketball program that competes each game and carries a "brotherhood" or "family" environment. The size of the college does not really matter. My ultimate goal is to receive good education and compete at a high level. I want to make make an impact on whatever team I play for and be a player that everyone likes to play with.
