My basketball career began at the age of 6 in Johannesburg South Africa. I was always the smallest person on the court, but that didn’t discourage me to stop working hard over the years as I grew older. I’ve always had a passion for basketball because of its social components (I love playing with teammates and friends). In addition, I appreciate the combination skill and strategy that basketball offers at a fast pace of play, while teaching the importance of playing together as a team.
I am now going into my sophomore year as a 5’7 point guard for my high school Le Lycée Français, and my AAU team BTI basketball. Some of my best attributes include passing, shooting, and finishing. At most I am a patient pass first point guard with great court vision and understanding of the game, but I can contribute in other areas such as grabbing rebounds, and playing off the ball. I fit in, and when needed adjust into any teams system. As I grow older and think about college, my goal is to play basketball at the highest level of competition while being the best version of myself I can be, as well as studying in areas involving sports management. On the court I’m always looking to improve my skills, while continuing to maintain a high grade point average in my school work. I’m a hardworking, disciplined, student and athlete as well as a great teammate. Im always open to suggestions and feedback, as I use them to better myself in aspects of the game and life.
