I started playing basketball in the fifth grade and enjoyed every part of it. I was always and still am the tallest player on every team I've been on. My true size is 6'11 I don't add two inches on as other players do, I just want to be honest on my height. The pace and constant challenges of skills have always intrigued me to want to play more and to play at the college level. Basketball is about teamwork, common goals and working in a changing diverse atmosphere. As an Eagle Scout, I know the importance of always being prepared and like basketball, you have to be in good health, physical and mental condition, to play a good game. Throughout my scouting years I set many goals and accomplished them with endurance. Basketball is the same goal setting and endurance that I bring, to help the team and to meet our team goal of a great game.
Being an active scout, basketball player, and I have donated hundreds of volunteer hours to a soccer organization, has taught me a great deal of organizational management. After a ninth grade struggle in my high school classes, I learned that I have a processing disorder; however, with a college level IQ, I learned other ways to learn to help me maintain a 3.5 GPA. In addition, my leadership skills with my high school Associated Student Body (ASB) and holding an executive treasurer position, being a quick thinker, dependable and resolving issues is part of my integrity.
I have always loved science and my career goals are to be in the medical field. In college, I plan to major in science/medical science so I can pursue my career goals.
I'm a 6'11 Center, Power Forward with a 86.5 inch wing span from Mission Vista High School in Oceanside, California. I also play for Coastal Elite Premier team. My GPA is 3.5. I'm looking at playing college ball ideally in Southern California. On the court, my strengths include play making in the pick-and-roll, beating people up the court, post-work, on-ball defense.
