Michael Heidelbach '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Heidelbach. My goals in life are to make it as far in life playing basketball as possible. I am confident in my ability to outwork others. That doesn't mean I don't focus on other things, though. I am an Honor Roll student with a current GPA of 3.9. As a basketball player, I am accustomed to the leader role. No matter what level I play at, I step on the floor and try my hardest. I believe I am different than other players because not only can I score, but I can find other players on the court and get them buckets. As a point guard, I try to attack my defender and make their help beat me. Due to my height and wingspan I can play multiple positions ranging from point guard to power forward. I am confident and I believe in my ability to shoot at a high clip and also attack the basket. More than anything, defense is the aspect of the game I take the most serious. I work hard to harass the person I am guarding and affect their game as much as I can.
