Hey, I’m Alonzo Henries for the past 2 years I have attended Putnam Science Academy for high school and participated in several different aau teams. My goal is to play in college basketball for a school that fits me. I feel that my skills on and off the court as a basketball play and person can strongly be used in college. Like some athletes I come from a big family in a small home, but what I feel makes me stand out is how I don’t let that negativity impact my life. I make it my job to at least touch a basketball once a day and improve in some way because I know to be the best you need to work harder than the rest. As far as academics although I had a hiccup this year, looking at my past years I’ve been an honor roll student and even though I struggled this year I‘m determined to get back on track with my studies.
