Derek Stanford '17 Recruiting Profile

This is a letter from two of my highschool coaches I feel others speaking of my character give better validation: Letter of recommendation for Derek Stanford To whom it may concern, This letter of endorsement is written for Derek Stanford with much pleasure because of the potential we feel Derek has and the positive effect he can have on others. We have interacted over the last two years with Derek. As the assistant coach for boy’s basketball we have watched Derek involved with practices, games, and school activities. His interaction with fellow teammates has been great. He is very punctual, has solid team work ethics, good leadership qualities and is a good person of character. He applies himself to what he is learning and strives to become better at what he does. Derek comes to the gym early and stays late to work on his game. Outside the gym, Derek is very involved in the church serving as a teen volunteer. He most recently co-hosted a town meeting with the local police department discussing the relationship between the police and the youth of the community. Derek Stanford displays high academic achievements, is well liked by all and will be missed when he graduates from Hodgson VO-Tech High School!
