From a young age, I fell in love with sports and competition. I started playing soccer at the age of three but never had a desire to play it competitively. I only started wrestling two years ago I didn't even know how to keep score at the beginning. Halfway through my first year wrestling, I earned the opportunity to wrestle varsity and by the end of the year I ended up placing in my conference. With consistent training over the offseason, I qualified for my state tournament my sophomore year. If I went from not knowing how to even keep score my freshman year to finish in the top 8 at my state tournament sophomore year imagine how much I can develop in my remaining two years of high school, or even over the next four years in college after that. I am currently enrolled in a Vocational-Technical school where I am in their Nurse-Tech program where I will learn the necessary skills to become a CNA (certified nursing assistant) by the end of my junior year. I hope to be able to attend a college where I can pursue a career in nursing, athletic training, or EMS while also continuing to wrestle.
