Griffin Barasa '21 Recruiting Profile

It is my goal is to become the best student athlete that I can become, while playing at the highest level possible.  It is important to be a student first before an athlete. I am willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish my goals.  I have been playing basketball for as long as I can remember.  I love watching all levels of basketball, too.  Playing basketball has taught me not only how to be a better athlete, but a better person.  It taught me how to be a team player and work hard to achieve my dreams.  As a point guard, I am floor general that naturally leads the team to bring the best out of all the players on the team.  I live by the philosophy that I can learn and get better every day through hard work and dedication. I am coachable and take great pride in modeling what is expected as a player on the team.  I am a person that keeps a growth mindset and believes that I can learn something every day to become even better.  I this makes me a great candidate for your basketball program.
