Andrew Munroe '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old and I'm a Munroe. Munroe's have  a  phrase we call "put in the work". This family has always understood that if you put in the time and effort in anything on or off the court you will receive the  rewards for your labor. Living by this foundation, I have always known working hard will translate to my performance on the court and in the classroom.   I am gifted in passing, shooting, rebounding, and defending my opponent. I'm used to showing up and producing  on my teams- being a leader.  I am coachable and talented both on and off the court.  I'm different from other players because I know and understand  that I have to go harder because that's what counts.  I know what is at stake. I have the mentality to push harder and give 110%, and I do this because I'm persistent I have gone through life earning everything I want because I know nothing is free in this world. I have been told to rest my body multiple times by other trainers and coaches because they know I'm working out every day and I have bonded with the phrase,"no days off.”  If I were to make your team Coach all I would ask for is the keys to the weight room, and time on the court and I know I would have to earn everything that comes. Andrew Munroe .  I am a great defender  I can guard  all four positions on the court because our school is a small school and we always the smaller team  and I am the Best Defender on my team.
