I am Keyshaun Fleetion, a 17 year old Senior at Saint Anne Pacelli, in Columbus, Georgia. I’m the product of a strong two parent home, where my parents were adamant that I must participate in at least one active extra-curricular activity, and at the age of 3, I gained my passion for basketball. Participating in competitive basketball has played a vital role in the young man I am today. In addition, I have gained a greater sense of confidence, discipline, time management, and true definition of a team player. More importantly, I have learned that in order to be successful in any area of life, I must put forth hard work. I have faced obstacles, being the product of an active duty service member, which caused me to switch schools often. However, it has never affected my academic performance.
I have always made the varsity team starting at 7th grade, well into my 10th grade year at Northside High, receiving a personal award as, “Top New Comer Award”. My last two years I will be finishing my high school career at Saint Anne Pacelli. In the off season I participate in open gym with the varsity head coach, weight training, fall league, and on AAU with Perfect Practice Elite and Georgia Magic. I was invited and played in several all star games held in Columbus, Georgia. I have received offers currently from South Georgia Tech and Shelton State University. Lastly, in my personal time I continue to work on drills to enhance my skills. I alternate both shooting and point guard, however I can be utilized in any position on the court. As an athlete on and off the court, I will always show forth great sportsmanship, accountability, and hard work.
I plan to obtain a BS in business. I am looking for a college with a needed balance of education and athletics.
