Goals and Aspirations

My goal is to grow individually and become a better player, better teammate and better person while playing college basketball and earning my degree..

What makes me a good candidate?

Because of my game IQ, strength and willingness to learn, I was able to make Varsity in a 7A division directly out of middle school and even started 5 games. I earned a starting role as a sophomore and considered the most versatile player on my team.  At 6'3, I have led the team in rebounds for 3 years running in addition to shooting a high percentage from 3 and averaging double digits from 2 which helped to get our team to the Sweet 16 in a region considered top 5 toughest in the country.

I always strive to get better by working with a trainer in addition to my team training several days per week.

On the court and in practice, I strive to be a leader and help my teammates and make the team stronger and more competitive.

What makes me different from other recruits?

On the court I've always been stronger than other kids my age and coupled with my shooting ability, as a freshman and sophomore on varsity, my coach played me at the 2,3,4 and 5 because of my post footwork and strength guarding bigger players. My ball handling skills and shooting ability helped me to become an inside and outside threat on the court and I continue working hard to get better.  Throughout all my years of school, I have maintained at least a 3.9 GPA in all advanced or AP classes and pride myself on never receiving a referral, suspension, or disciplinary write up.
