Dear Sirs,
My name is Akil Williams and I am an aspiring basketball player who has been playing basketball since I was eight years old.
During these last few weeks, I have spent time with my high school Counselor doing research on which colleges would be a good match for me both academically and athletically. I an scheduled to take the ACT and SAT this upcoming June session. My goal is to receive a degree in Business Management and become an entreprenuer.
The minute I started playing I knew the game of basketball is my love and a game I can play well! I have great ball handlers, I'm great with my first step to the basket, which is my game taking my player straight to the basket. most of all I’m strong and very coachable. I love to learn more about the game, I’m hungry to be a great student of the game by a great coach and college program! I work hard in my classes at school; school work is first with me then basketball! I have great support from my parents. I also, attend a lot of camps to stay focus when I’m not in basketball season! I have always dream of making my parents proud by making good grades and being a great athletic and going to college. I know with me in your program you have a great person, leader, student! I also do a lot of charity work at homeless shelter and at my local gym.
