Focus, dedication and hard work define everything I do in my life. I always take pride in my school work as well as my athletic achievements. I work hard to maintain a high GPA no matter the level of the class.  I do whatever's necessary to reach my full potential as a student athlete.  Doing so allows me to stay eligible on the court, which sets an example of a team leader and being there for my teammates where I'm needed the most. My goal these last three year has been helping my teammates on and off the court. I am always in study hall tutoring the younger kids. Basketball has been a major part in my life since a young age. I enjoy the game and the competition that comes with it.  I started playing basketball at a young age where I had to learn the basic rules and fundamentals of the game.  I began playing in leagues, AAU, and on my school team performing at a high level. As a freshman in High School I played on the junior varsity team where we earned a conference title, but took a devastating loss in the playoffs to a team that went on to win the junior varsity city championship. My sophomore season I was a starter on the Varsity team where I led my team in scoring and also was nominated as an all conference player.  Now my junior year has came to an end with what has been a great season. To cap it off becoming an 2019 Chicago Sun- Times All- City candidate. I take great pride in being a team leader. Winning is my attitude, winning is a part of who I am.  Given the opportunity to achieve my goals on and off the court, doing what I truly love would be an amazing experience.
