Janelle Smith '21 Recruiting Profile

Focus, dedication, and hard work define everything I do in my life. I always take much pride in my  school work as well as my athletic achievements. I work hard to maintain a high GPA no matter the level of the class.  I do whatever's necessary to reach my full potential as a student athlete.  Doing so allows me to stay eligible on the court, which sets an example of a team leader and being there for my teammates where I'm needed the most. My goal these last three year has been helping my teammates on and off the court. I am always in study hall tutoring the younger kids. Basketball has been a major part in my life since a young age. I enjoy the game and the competition that comes with it.  I started playing basketball at a young age where I had to learn the basic rules and fundamentals of the game.   I take great pride in being a team leader. Winning is my attitude, winning is a part of who I am.  Given the opportunity to achieve my goals on and off the court, doing what I truly love would be an amazing experience.
