Cannon Leonard '23 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 6'10" C/PF at Iroquois West High School where I start varsity for both basketball and football. As a student-athlete, I'm always wanting to get better and to be the best possible version of myself both on and off the court. My whole life I played both Football and Basketball. At the conclusion of my middle school  career I realized I needed to improve my skill set and my build to be able to play at the next Level. Being a college athlete was something I would love to do and has always been a dream of mine. 

School is something that I have always loved and enjoyed.  I have developed a lot over the years and earned many accomplishments and awards. I have received Board Scholar every semester of high school, I am currently ranked 1st in my class academically, I have been placed in all honors classes possible, and lastly I have a weighted GPA of 4.56 and an unweighted GPA of 4.0

My goal as a student-athlete is to play collegiate sports and to get my college education so that I can both develop as a basketball player, as a student, and to become a greater human being overall.
