I am a good candidate for anybody's team because I can work as hard as necessary to reach where I want to be or need to be. I am strong-willed and motivated, but most of all, I am disciplined. I strive to improve myself every day, reaching for my goals, learning, and educating myself humbly. I respond well to authority and have no issues with corresponding to criticism and improving upon my character. When you look at me as a candidate, you aren't just looking at somebody who wants to play sports to get by, you're looking at somebody with real goals and dreams that they have to attest to, that are attainable and aren't just reaches and shots into the dark. I don't want to just play sports for the fun of playing sports, I really want to strive to keep improving myself and playing the best I can. But most of all, I want to keep moving forward with my aspirations outside of sports, in the classroom. Coming from a disenfranchised and traditional Hispanic household, I have always been taught from my upbringing that the one who listens and follows directions from authority, is the one who will finish in first place. I always work towards improving myself with the criticism I receive from outside and always try to listen and ask for advice or assistance when I need it because I know that no one person knows it all. In conclusion, any team that is willing to give me acceptance and an opportunity to learn (sports and classroom-wise), I will not disappoint. I will work as hard as I can, to show you that you weren't wasting your time and effort when you gave me an opportunity.
