Matas Castillo - ...Personal Statement
Hi my name is Matas Castillo,
I have been playing basketball since i was in first grade. It has always been my dream to play college basketball and eventually professionally.
I have been playing AAU team since fourth grade and we have been state champions six years in a row, also played in division 1 nationally . Last year i have been invited to U14 national Lithuanian team and made it. I have been going to lithuanian school for 9 years and am fluent in lithuanian.
I think my biggest strength is my defence, creating plays and shooting. I think i am a good teammate on and off the court.
This year i just started high school and have 3 honor classes. Also i have been invited to play varsity basketball this year.
I am a hard worker in the classroom and on the court and i think i can bring this energy to my future college.
