Hello,
My name is Luke Koller. I am currently entering my senior year at Mahomet-Seymour High School where I was a starter as a sophomore. I also played threeyears with the Champaign Heat Basketball club and most recently was picked to play with the SI Under Amor National Team beginning in the Spring of 2021. On both Mahomet- Seymour and Champaign Heat teams, I have won many awards but my greatest accomplishments as a player have come from being a part of the team.
I have been playing basketball since I was nine years old. Ever since I first stepped on the court, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. As a 6’ 9” power forward / center, I have strong ball handling skills, soft hands, a high basketball IQ and the ability to play all over the court. I strive to be a team leader, to lead by example and to also encouraging my teammates by utilizing servant leadership practices. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players for any team I am a part of during games, at practices and in the classroom. I strive to be first in all that I do.
Off the court, I study hard, maintain a high grade point average and work to be a positive role model in school. I also volunteer at local community services and clubs. I currently volunteer for my family’s charity organization called Dreams for Kids which serves thousands of under-privileged children and their families. Dreams for Kids also serves children with mental and physical disabilities and this experience has truly shown me how blessed I really am.
I want to attend a college/university where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match for me at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and bring my abilities and leadership to the college basketball level.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
