Basketball has really developed me into a better all around person and player for the ten years I have been playing. I have found how much I really love the sport and what I’m willing to do for it. One of my teammates tore his acl two times in a row, yet he continued to work hard to get back onto the court. He is finally back this year, and seeing him work hard every day makes me want to push myself even more. My work ethic has grown and I have even fallen more in love with basketball. He has also helped me on my walk with God, and also helped me mature through the 2 years I have know him.
Depending on how far this sport takes me, I would love to play basketball at the next level, wherever that may be, but also push my self on the academics as well. Where ever I play and whatever my part is on the team, every second on the court I will give it my all and sacrifice my body if needed. Being a three sport athlete and with my work ethic I think I could make it on a college team.
