Basketball has became a huge development to my all-around person. I’ve been playing basketball since the 3rd grade starting from a local park district. One of my teammates truly inspired me that hard work and dedication can get you somewhere. Even when there’s days that it seems like everything that you love about basketball falls apart even with your game. Those times taught me to take those punches because those times are temporary and just to keep continuously grinding and being hungry for bettering my game. It has really matured me and made me think about my all around future.
Seeing how much of my work and dedication will take me to my goal, I will always keep putting in the work to at least reach the next level of basketball. I will always put myself and my own body for basketball and play my heart out ever second of being on that court. Also truly desiring to keep pushing my way through academics and to keep striving to do better. I believe I can make it big with my work that I put in and continually strive to get to where I want and always be hungry to get better in my game.
