Coleman Sater '21 Recruiting Profile

My love for basketball has gone back as far as I can remember.   I have a huge passion for playing the most exciting sport known to man.  I love the smell of the gym, and the sounds of the game.   Everything about it!  I am 6'4", 205lb , 2021 classmate at Edgewood High School.  I am proud to be known as an "Every Day Guy".   Whether it is a parent, teammate, or coach complimenting me on my worth ethic, it means a lot to me.   I want to be known as the hardest worker around.   I enjoy the challenge to compete at a high level.   Some of my current challenges are, continue to be top 10 in my class academically with a 4.0GPA, top 10 in the county in points (16pt/game, currently 4th) , top 10 in county rebounds (8reb/game currently 3rd), and top 10 in county free throw percentage (75% currently 7th).    An obstacle I have had to overcome is the transition from a guard to an inside/out player.  From a young age, up until my Freshman year, I was the main ball handler.  My Sophomore & Junior year I was the tallest player on the team and was put in a new position.  This change now allows me to play positions 1-5 and makes me a better overall player.  I hope to achieve an academic or athletic scholarship at a college level.  I feel I can bring energy, passion, and a hard work ethic, to whoever needs me to be a good student and a good teammate.
