Goals and Aspirations
My goal is to attend college after graduating to get a degree in Engineering Management. This degree will allow me to combine engineering with business management training so I can manage engineering projects or manage a team of engineers. I believe with my training of sports this will allow me to be focused and disciplined to gain the knowledge I need to be successful in this field of study or just college period.
What makes you a good candidate for their team?
What makes me a good candidate is the fact that I have been training for sports since I was about 5yrs of age. Basically since I could hold a football or bounce a basketball. At that time I played youth football along with basketball, my dad had me working on my speed and well as learning the fundamentals of each sport. As I continue to grow, the workout process changed as well with a lot of intensity. My love of basketball started to become my main sport of choice and focus. I began to study more fundamentalsand the necessary drills. For high school I would be early to practice to do shoot a rounds. Every time I have the opportunity to shoot, play and learn more I am there willing.
What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?
What makes me different is definitely the support of my parents. They believe in me enough to allow me the opportunities that I have. They make sure I get to and from my practices and get me to all my tournaments even with some of them being out of town and overnight. They stressed the importance of putting my all into my sport if this is what I want to do and not allowing me to quit when it becomes frustrating or tiring. They relate it to real life scenarios and that when things get hard in life you can't just up and quit because it is not going my way. You have to learn how to make it work. In order for to me continue to play sports I have to keep up my grades and schooling otherwise my parents would then make me quit.
I also have the support of my coaches. They push me because they see what I am capable of and try to encourage me not to settle or downplay myself. They also see me as the leader of the team and help my me to improve my growth to become a better leader for my team.

- All 4 Sports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that renders aid in player development while providing consultant work through an athletic setting. Our goal is to ensure kids have fun, and develop into well rounded citizens, athletes, and students through sports specific training. The organization was founded in 2002 by Orin Bailey. All 4 Sports is designed to educate, train, expose, and compete on its highest level. Through major recognized tournaments and showcases, young adults are striving to achieve athletic scholarships.

- Hobert Grayson IV, of Gonzales (LA) East Ascension, is a 6'5 185lb 2020 prospect from our Fall 2018 NO camp. College coaches on camp staff identified Hobert as having division 1 potential. Hobert has a disruptive wingspan that gives the player the potential to be a lock down defender and can be even more effective with active hands/feet. Additionally, the prospect appears to have very good size for position when used properly remains advantageous on both sides of the ball. The very talented passer does a fantastic job distributing and seeing the floor. The player is always anticipating when and where teammates will be open, a highly coveted trait in the team sport. In terms of ball handling, it was one of the strongest aspects of the player's game. The player makes great use of change of speed and change of direction. In terms of basketball IQ the player was one of the smartest players we saw at camp and all Fall. The right play was almost always made, and that will be a big advantage in recruiting as this prospect showed they could be trusted on the court at all times being an extension of the coach. A big part of IQ is shot selection. Hobert does an excellent job of shooting the basketball with rhythm and possesses high-level knowledge between good/bad shots. This advantage will continue to develop by watching how this is done at various college levels. Making the extra pass and taking only open in-rhythm shots proved to be a very reliable asset for the prospect. The prospect shot lights out during camp, and was one of the best shot makers we had all Fall. Shooting will continue to develop with form shooting and made game speed repetitions. We recommend making at least 500 game speed shots a day off the screen(curl/fades), off the bounce, spot shooting, etc. The talent did a tremendous job of finishing around the rim at the highest level. With great touch and composure with both hands, the player is nearly impossible to stop around the basket unless Dikembe Mutombo makes a comeback! The talented player is an exceptional athlete proving to be an advantage on both ends of the floor having athleticism that is in the upper quartile of competitors. The prospect is very strong for their age. The college game is an entirely different beast so continued strength development is crucial to prepare going against 23-24 year-olds. Combined with the player's great frame, the player will be ahead of schedule in terms of being physically ready to play at the next level. The talent has a non-stop relentless motor that really impressed our on staff college coaches during camp. This is a skill college coaches highly covet and will be blown away watching the talented prospect and from what we saw, the player had a physical and mental toughness that coaches at the next level will love. The player showed a great understanding and effort on the defensive side of the ball and should continue to focus on individual and team defensive concepts emphasized at camp. Hobert has division 1 potential with continued hard work and development both in the classroom and on the hardwood
