As a student-athlete looking forward to playing basketball at the highest level, I am cognizant of the importance of my education first and foremost, because I know that it will be instrumental to long-term success when my body can no longer sustain the sport. As an undergraduate in college I will pursue a degree in engineering, as well as hopefully continuing my winning ways and leading my college to at least one championship. I know that I have the necessary abilities and work ethic to be successful, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goals. I have big hopes for my basketball career, but I also understand and accept my role as a student-athlete and role model for younger students and athletes alike. My education comes first and the hard work comes consistently. Thank you for your time and consideration.
