Standing at 6'0", he plays as a pass-first Point Guard with impressive physical attributes including a 72-inch wingspan, a standing vertical of 36 inches, and a vertical leap of 41 inches. As a member of the Class of 2025, Josiah is currently unsigned and holds NCAA ID 2107249904 and NAIA ID 929926.
Recently, led St. Frances Academy's basketball team to a BCL Championship, earning the MVP title for the 2024 season. While basketball remains his primary passion, I also harbor aspirations in sports medicine, aiming to become a therapist or trainer. This dual interest allows him to combine his love for the game with a dedication to athletes' well-being. His ultimate ambition is to graduate from college while pursuing a career in the NBA, competing alongside the professionals he has long admired.
I am interested in sports medicine is driven by a desire to contribute to athletes' health and recovery. I am enthusiastic about exploring human anatomy and understanding the body's mechanisms for healing and providing comfort to injured players. By pursuing a career in sports medicine, I aim to broaden my impact beyond the basketball court, assisting athletes across various sports in maintaining their health and recovering from injuries.
In my college search, I am looking for an institution that offers a competitive academic environment paired with strong athletic programs. I believe that a challenging academic setting will not only stimulate my intellect but also foster my social growth. Currently excelling both academically and athletically in high school's competitive environment, I value advice and corrections as opportunities for growth. My commitment to continuous improvement has led to my appointment as the students' sports captain, a role I have embraced with a positive attitude and a willingness to listen.
Character-wise, I take pride in myself on humility and respect for others. I take great value in suggestions from teachers and peers, fostering positive relationships and believing in second chances, which has enabled me to build more friendships than conflicts. Honesty is a cornerstone of my character, helping me stay focused on my goals and aspirations.
In conclusion, my journey is fueled by his passion for basketball, commitment to sports medicine, and dedication to academic excellence. I look forward to bringing my unique perspective and positive attitude to a college environment that challenges and supports my growth in both academics and athletics.
