Blaine Kalaw '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old. Ever since I played my first basketball game I love it and fell in love with the game, I made it my #1 priority to play college basketball. I have good ball-handling skills, can shut down anyone in front of me, and can play make and get my teammates involved if they ever feel left out. I can shoot the ball well, I play varsity as a freshman, I am a very humble person and I don't let my emotions get the best of me. When school season is over I am at the basketball court working on my shooting and my ball handling and I play AAU in the summertime. Before basketball season I play varsity football to keep myself in shape for basketball season. I play point guard, shooting guard, and small forward. In the classroom, I maintain a 3.4 GPA, and I am also a leader on and off the court everyone respects the hard work I put in on and off the court. My long term is to get either an academic or athletic scholarship so my parents do not have to pay for college and make them proud.
