Isaiah Buckley '24 Recruiting Profile

It has always been a dream of mine to play at both the collegiate and professional levels in basketball. Ever since I started playing basketball at the age of 8, I've worked on developing my skills and mental toughness in order to take my game to the next level.  I am coachable, hardworking, a leader, and am focused on putting myself and others in the best situation to win.  As a point guard, strategic plays and constant encouragement were the catalysts for me to help my team achieve a successful season. There were a few situations where we would be behind, but a strategic play would change the game and set the tone for us ultimately winning the game. 

I try to remain disciplined and manage my time as best I can, while balancing academic coursework and intense training.  My motivation and drive to constantly improve both on and off the court are based on my desire to excel in my basketball career and pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. These qualities and aspirations I believe make me a valuable addition to any team.
