I am Christopher (CJ) Jenkins, a 5'6" true point guard. I play for the Spencerville Academy Hornets in Spencerville, Maryland. Notching an average of 6 assists a game, I am an all-around playmaker who can handle the ball. I am also a consistent scorer averaging 11 points a match.
I believe I would be a good candidate for your basketball program because I am a good leader, having been the co-captain and captain of my school's varsity squad in my junior and senior years respectively, a dedicated student in the classroom, and a passionate perfectionist in all that I do. I enjoy making those around me better in all facets of life and I am always there to lift up a teammate or friend in need.
I've played basketball since 2nd grade and I feel like I've improved every year. I am accepting of criticism to help my skills and to improve my overall game. I truly enjoy playing the game of basketball and hope that it is in God's plan that I continue my career of basketball after graduating high school. I am willing to put in the hard work, dedication, and time that it takes to get to the next level of playing basketball.
I have been a consistent learner for all of my middle and high school academics. I maintain a GPA of 3.00 and continue to strive towards greater academic excellence.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and I look forward to making a difference on your basketball team in the future.
