My name Kobe Karels. I am in the graduating class of 2023. I go to Cambridge- Isanti High School in Cambridge MN. I am a 6'2" Guard I have played both the PG and SG position w/ confidence. I first played basketball in 3rd grade in Braham MN. Basketball has been my passion and driving force ever since. I played in the point guard position until this past season when I was then moved to the shooting guard/ PG spots . This took some getting used to, I have settled in to this position and I feel it has made me a more versatile player. My speed, strength, and wing-span helps make me a very successful defender . My ability to see the floor makes me a strong team leader as the PG. I take pride in my hard work-ethic and devotion to the game. Working many hours off and on the court. Until recent years effected by Covid I was a three sport athlete playing football, baseball and basketball all since I was in 3rd grade. The spring of Covid I decided to dedicate most of my time to basketball and Track and Field. I did also run one season of cross country achieving all conference honorable mention and running Varsity my first season. I decided to run Track this last spring for the first time. I was All State in the 4x400, All conference honorable mention in the 4x800 and All conference honorable mention in the open 400. I am dedicated in not only becoming a successful athlete, but a student as well. This semester I received and overall GPA of 3.868 most in core class curriculum, achieving the schools honor roll. I love being a part of a team and working toward perfection together. This past summer AAU season where I played with the Northstar Titans it created growth for me as an athlete and a person. I am looking forward to a very successful senior season with my team at home. I sincerely love the game of basketball. Creating a future through the game I love would be an unbelievable experience. I look forward to working hard and becoming the best player I can be. I was awarded all conference honorable mention my first varsity season as a sophomore and received All Conference my Junior season. I hope to achieve even better this year. I hope this is only the start of what is to come in my future.
