One of my goals is to be a student athlete at the collegiate level. I am aiming to play D1 or D2. In addition to playing college basketball, I want to attend a university with strong academics. I am undecided about a major, but I'm interested in pre-med, sports administration, business, and education. I think I am an excellent candidate for your basketball program because I am hardworking, highly motivated, disciplined, and a team player. My dedication has helped me develop into a skilled, athletic, and competitive athlete. I've played point guard most of my youth years and I am a floor leader who can score, create for teammates, and play an all-around game. I embrace defensive challenges as well.
What separates me from other players is my strong work ethic as an athlete, my commitment to academic success, and my civic work at a young age. I am the captain of my varsity basketball team. I have good grades at an academically-rigorous school. Because of my civic work, I was named as a local Teen Hero. Teen Hero's are high school students in the community who serve as role models to younger students by visiting classrooms and sharing their stories. I attend a faith-based school and enjoy discovering my walk as a Christian. If given the opportunity to join your program, I will be a model student athlete.
