Kasen McCarty '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a determined hard working athlete that will bring 100% to every practice and game.  I am a person of integrity, and hold myself to a high standard in both my personal and athletic life.  When I commit to something,  I will succeed.  I joined the cross country team during my senior year of high school to condition myself for the 2022-2023 basketball season.   It was my first year to run, yet I ranked #1 in our conference, #10 in our district and qualified for state.  My cross country coach stated that she had "never met anyone more mentally strong".   I am a natural leader and a team player.  I play an intense defensive game, have a high basketball IQ, great ball handling skills and work to build and showcase the skills of each player on my team.  I am graduating #6 in my class.  I am a member of BETA club and  FCA.  I am coachable and will bring excitement and spark to any team I play on.  I guarantee that I will work harder for my team's success than anyone you have ever coached.
