My future goals as a collegiate athlete are huge. I want to be a dominant opponent. I want to be considered one of the top in my class. I want to go to the NCAA post season tournament every year. I want to win. I'm passionate about life. Every aspect of it, on and off the court. Whenever I step on the court my goal is to not only win, but to support my teammates in a way that shows leadership and strong character. I also maintain a state of being that challenges me to think beyond myself; a character defining attribute that is shown throughout my everyday life. Our modern day society faces bigger challenges often stemming from poor ethical choices. It is important to me that my behavior be a reflection of the person I really am. A Christian, son, brother, and teammate. I take pride in my academic endeavors making certain that I prioritize my responsibilities to earn excellent grades. I am intrinsically motivated to be the best at everything I do. Is this always the case? No, because sometimes I fail. I understand that I won't always win. I won't always have the highest test grade. I won't always be the starter. These things are a part of life. What separates me from those who do fail is I don't give up. I learn from those mistakes and shortcomings. I listen to instruction and constructive criticism. I am always looking to grow. I am always wanting to get better. I expect excellence from myself and work to that end. Though I cannot guarantee a winning career to the school I am honored to attend, I can guarantee that I will bring a level of commitment unmatched by other candidates. I will commit to always giving 100% in the classroom, in practice, in games, in the community I represent, and beyond.
