Bryce Bussard '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was five years old. Since I first stepped on the court, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I have strong ball handling skills, quick hands, and a high basketball IQ.  I am an excellent shooter and passer but I also play great defense. I have no problem taking a charge or guarding the opposing teams best player,I had this assignment for my high school team my junior year.

I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players for any team I am a part of.

Off the court, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer at local youth basketball camps and am currently a member of National Honor Society and Blue Crew.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and continue playing at the collegiate level as my father, Gary Bussard and uncle Terry Bussard, both played at Truman State University, and family cousin Rick Bussard played at University of Kansas.
