Andrew Miner '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a sophomore at Columbia Falls High School and play on the JV basketball team. I love basketball and wish to continue playing in college. Before this season, I had primarily been a point guard, but this season as I am playing with older players I have shifted to more a shooting guard/small forward role. I think that this ability to adjust would help me become a successful college athlete. I am a team player and don't need the ball in my hands to make an impact. I am hard working and listen to coaching. This season I won the JV Hustler Award for my team. I am also a good student and have maintained a 4.0 GPA all throughout my high school career while taking advanced classes. I would like to go to a college where I can grow intellectually as well as athletically. I also participate in other school activities such as soccer and band. This season in soccer, I started on the varsity team at center back. We did well and made it to the state championship game where we lost. I was 2nd team all-conference and won the hustler award for my team. I think that my work ethic and hustle make me a good candidate for college athletics.
